scoring setting as I have them written down

Now bare with me, there could be mistakes, If you see one just let me know, without jumping off a bridge, ( rich lol).
qb scoring
.5 per completion
-.5 per imcompletion
5 pts per passing td, (the poll right now)
1 pt per 25 yds passing
1 pt per 10 yards rushing
and 6 pts per rushing td
1 pt per tackle of course
and -3 for each Int. or fumble lost

rb and wr scoring
1 pt. per catch
1 pt. per 10 yards catching or receiving
6 pts per td
1 pt per tackle of course

kickers points will be the same as last year as nobody has mentioned this subject
so it will be 3 pts for each kick 39 yards or less
40-49 will be 4 pts.
50 and above will be 5 pts.
60 and above will be 6 pts
extra points will be just 1 pt

defense will be pretty much the same as last year
1 pt per tackle
3 pts per sack
3 points per fumble forced and 3 pts per fumble recovery i believe
any defensive td will be worth 6 pts.
2 pts. per deflected pass
2 pts. per safety

special teams is something everyone wanted to add but not really solid discussion was
taken place on how much to give per yardage. I was thinking maybe around 1 pt per 30 yards
let see what everyone says about this....
Anything I'm missing just post below and let me know

Re: scoring setting as I have them written down

I was thinking we had decided on .5 per deflected pass?

Seemed like most people wanted them to be worth more then tackles, I think 2 would be good based on how few there are per player compared to tackles

Re: scoring setting as I have them written down

No, read the posts on the subject of IDP Scoring. It makes no sense at .5 per defended pass. The DB who allows a completion and makes a tackle gets a point, whereas the DB that prevents the completion and yardage gained only gets .5. Ridiculous is the word that comes to mind. Am I being too severe? lol

Re: scoring setting as I have them written down

I can only think of 3 things as missing right now, safeties which I'd put at 2, assisted tackles which I think people wanted as 1 since a tackle is a tackled regardless of how many people fall on the guy and special teams return td's which i'd put at 6

Re: scoring setting as I have them written down

yea, the safeties I guess I had assumed everyone kinda knew, but I should have listed anyway. as well as return tds. But the assisted tackles I never really heard conversation of, maybe it was during my absence. I am down for it as well if thats what everyone wanted, I would more suggest .5 as usually an assist consist of a guy just finishing the guy up, but I'm down for the popular opinion

Re: scoring setting as I have them written down

The opinion was mixed. It seems fair that a tackle be worth an amount, either one point or two. A shared tackle should be worth half of a tackle, either .5 or 1, depending on the value of a tackle.

Re: scoring setting as I have them written down

I'm fine with either .5 or 1 for assisted tackles, whichever you guys decide is fine with me
